I spent a Sunday morning here, and it was well worth my lost sleep. The food was excellent! And well priced. I had a huge stack of delicious blueberry pancakes. My husband had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with hash browns. All was hot, fresh, and scrumptious. The hash browns were more or less fried potatoes, and were excellent. Service was fine, and the atmosphere reminded me of a small town diner.

Portions were generous and everything tasted generally good. I thought coffee was a bit pricy. It'd be a good place to introduce someone from overseas to southern breakfast, but it's definitely not something I'd eat every morning unless my goal is to get a heart attack.

Kind of rustic but the food was great! I had the amazing pecan pancakes and my brother enjoyed his country breakfast, especially the peppered bacon

Finding a big black long hair and my hashbrowns is not the way to start your day. The owner did take a few dollars off of my bill but still the food wasn't worth what I paid for it. The eggs and bacon and hash browns seem like they were all cooked on the same grill because they had no different taste except texture.

Did not meet expectations. They served me instant oatmeal, the toast had no butter in it, and the bacon was very thin. Not what I would agree is a "country" breakfast.

This place is Krazy good breakfast! I had the Big Country breakfast! 2 eggs over easy (to perfection) Hash browns (fried seasoned red potatoes) Peppered bacon Xrta crispy Biscuit & gravy & a sweet potato pancake on the side. if your on the fence just jump off & get some breakfast. (Skip the coffee tho...Weak Sauce!) The place is Divey but the Food is Great!

This place has gone down down down. Very Dirty. Food was so greasy we couldn't even finish it. Pancakes had black crap from the grill all over them. And over $20 for breakfast. Not sure if the owners are the same from a few years ago but they are either different or don't go there anymore. Don't waste you hard earned money unless you enjoy eating in filth.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Please do not be swayed by positive reviews. Still cannot figure out why/how Arkansans rate services as 4-5 stars here. Unbearably hot inside restaurant: staff and customers sweating - which made for an uncomfortable eating environment. Absolutely no effort to prepare/present a meal - only slopped onto a plate, burnt and/or grease-soaked food, and ridiculously overpriced, not only for quality, but also for quantity. $10 for three sunny-side eggs, 2 scrawny strips of bacon, and 2 burnt sausage patties. To be fair, we have just returned to AR after living in CO where the food is amazing. However, even simple food (eggs and bacon) can be prepared and presented well. This place isn't even trying.

Touted as the best breakfast in LR. I realize "best' is subjective, but in my opinion it was pretty good. I enjoyed Laughing Moon Cafe's (now defunct) breakfast better. Nonetheless, the omelet was tasty, albeit slightly overcooked. Not sure what kind of cheese they used, but I had a hard time getting it off my teeth. :) The red potatoes were fresh cut (obviously not frozen). The coffee was pretty good. Didn't eat the biscuit or the gravy but they looked like they would have been good. My server (a male) was pleasant and personable.

Diner vibe, mostly older folks and working class Joes. With that said no Bloody Marys. Pretty good breakfast and brunch, hearty food. If you're thinking Waffle House, skip and come here. After reading a foodie review I'm reminded that if you're younger than 40 you do get starred at/treated like you're a hipster from another planet.

It's quality food on the menu in all my visits. Weather permitting, get a table on the porch. The only downsides would be the overall size of the restaurant as it can get very busy, and the restrooms could use work.

I have always loved the cabin-like atmosphere at this restaurant! The food and service are SUPER! I've been going here for breakfast for 10 years.

Followed reviews and must disagree. Ozark should be top of list. The coffee was fine. Food was superior to any big chain. Best food I have had in years. Service and speed are unmatched. Come here and you won't be upset.

I was majorly disappointed. The gravy seemed like it came from a powdered mix. The pancakes were pretty flat. Scrambled eggs were pretty bad. Biscuits were good. Coffee was weak and overpriced. The menu needed more options or combos to choose from. There wasn't any breakfasts geared towards kids. I just don't see the draw here. I also noticed no lights or hot water in the bathroom. That is a major violation where I am from. $33 for 2 adults and 1 kid was about $20 too high for this food.

Their breakfast is great road trip fuel. We stopped in while passing through Little Rock and found great energy in their pecan pancakes, home fries, grits, peppered bacon, and of course - bottomless coffee. We were on the road and ready to go after this meal! They have a back porch that was closed while we were there. Get the pepper bacon. They cook your meal and get you back on the road in no time!

Great food. Horrible coffee. Very very happy with their biscuits and gravy though. Being from the northeast, I have a fine taste for coffee; however the southern style breakfast was truly gratifying!!!!

When my wife and I walked in, we noticed a bad aroma in the restaurant which was very displeasing and off putting. After seating ourselves "at a clean" table, as per instructed by the kindergarten style sign at the entrance, we were greeted by the server who forgot our drink order and had to come back to the table to ask what we had a second time. As we sat there with the tasteless coffee, we watched the server putting together breakfast biscuits without washing his hands and taking them to a table of guests. At this point we payed for our beverages and left, we didn't want to stay for any food as we don't like the flavor of hand seasoning.

If I could give this place 3.5 stars - I would ... I can't bring myself to say I loved it though. This is definitely an old fashioned type restaurant that boasts it's reputation for having good cooking on the walls via magazine covers. The sign taped up near the register stating that lunch wouldn't be served on this particular day made things a little less classy in my opinion, though. 'Have a nice day' was chicken-scratched below it in another color as if someone realized how disappointed some people may be once they saw the sign. Hahahaha... I ordered the breakfast that would seem basic to me ... Blueberry pancakes, smoked bacon, eggs and hash browns. The blueberry pancakes were amazing - I agree with whoever put that it reminds you of grandma's cooking. The service was good - for our waitress her positivity seemed strained and she seriously lacked a sense of humor. Meh, I guess people have bad days... We didn't wait long on our food either so that was a plus, and I have no complaints about the food - very tasty.

While visiting from California, I was looking for real biscuits and gravy, and Ozark Country delivered. I was looking for local, not lo-cal, I wanted artery clogging goodness with authentic Arkansas flavors. The gravy was creamy and delicious and the biscuits were as big as my fist. I had the peppered bacon and the taters. My mouth is watering just typing about it. If you want a real Arkie breakfast like your grandma used to make, go to Ozark Country Restaurant.

Good Country breakfast if your looking for the health food plate don't come here but if you want pancakes that are huge and tasty than this is the place very rustic in decor and the folks are down home type. I loved it here but I am one for the out of the way place to go. Loved the breakfast here and took some back to my place for later.

I was told by all the locals that this was the best breakfast in town. We might have just caught them on an off day, because the poor waitress could not get our order straight and after two incorrect dishes we just stopped correcting her. Otherwise not bad. Nice casual atmosphere; ask for the outdoor seating in the back which is wonderful in the spring breeze. A true heaping helping of Southern breakfast that ensures you won't need another meal for the day. Tender biscuits, greasy potatoes, and, for the meat-inclined, giant slabs of pork. Everything you'd expect, at a nice price. Especially for the biscuit-deprived.

undercooked bacon. bad pancakes. just not good at all. how does this place stay in business? i've heard from others that it used to be a better restaurant but that it has slipped far in the last few years.

Can't believe this place is considered one of the best breakfast places in Little Rock. Everything was swimming in grease and obviously the grill had not been cleaned in a while because everything came out with black specks on it. The omelet is a hard flat piece of egg folded over the meat and very little cheese (oh, yeah, they also got the filling wrong). Breakfast for 4 was $50. Save your money and cook at home.
